Arrive & Discover
We’ll begin by taking a little walk around together and introducing the activities and opportunities available that day. These may include tool work, den building, nature crafts, fire lighting, exploring the woodland or imaginative play.
Explore, Play & Share Ideas
Then it’s time to explore! Children can choose what catches their interest, follow their curiosity and share their own ideas. There will be plenty of time for free play, discovering nature, creating, building, collecting and enjoying the outdoors with friends.
Our sessions are child-led, giving children the freedom to make choices and follow their own interests, with gentle encouragement and support from adults. Choice and free play are central to the Forest School approach.
Parents and carers are welcome to get involved and support their child’s adventures, or simply sit back and watch the magic unfold while staying close by to supervise and keep them safe.
Fire Circle, Snack & Songs
Towards the end of our session, we’ll gather everyone back together around the fire pit. We’ll enjoy a fire-side snack, sing some songs together and take a little time to come back together as a group.
Home Time
After our final songs and a little goodbye, it’s time to head home, hopefully with muddy boots, happy faces and lots of stories to tell!

Safety Guidelines
For the safety of all children, we ask that you keep your child within sight at all times. Please review our forest rules with them before arrival to ensure a safe and joyful experience.
